This three tier wedding cake was for Melissa & Graeme at Vrede en Lust. The bottom tier was red velvet cake, the middle tier was carrot & pecan and the top tier was fruit cake. On the outside the cake was decorated with vanilla buttercream and beautiful flowers provided by Byrene from Mint & Magnolia.

This is new for us but we love it! Two tier cake covered in white fondant. The bottom tier is painted with edible gold paint and the beautiful fresh flower is from my mother’s garden.

Layer the cake with our delicious brown butter frosting and….let it rest in the fridge
Give the cake a layer of frosting on the outside and make sure it is completely smooth…let it rest
Cover the cake with marzipan make sure it is nice and smooth
