This three tier wedding cake was for Melissa & Graeme at Vrede en Lust. The bottom tier was red velvet cake, the middle tier was carrot & pecan and the top tier was fruit cake. On the outside the cake was decorated with vanilla buttercream and beautiful flowers provided by Byrene from Mint & Magnolia.
This is one of our absolute favourite wedding cakes so far. It does not only look so gorgeous, luscious and delicious…it is! Red velvet naked cake with vanilla buttercream with lemon and chunky raspberries. Garnished with fresh figs, fresh raspberries and toasted pistachio nuts.

This is new for us but we love it! Two tier cake covered in white fondant. The bottom tier is painted with edible gold paint and the beautiful fresh flower is from my mother’s garden.

This was a beautiful three tier wedding cake covered with white fondant and decorated with a polka dot detail. The green ribbon was used to bring in the hint of green that was used on the tables and in the rest of the decor.

This was a wedding cake and sweet table for a beautiful white wedding. The two tier chocolate cake had chocolate fudge frosting in between the layers and was decorated with Italian meringue on the outside. Among some of the other treats on the table were red velvet cupcakes, vanilla iced biscuits, vanilla macaroons and meringues.
This was a beautiful three tier wedding cake we made in September 2011 at Pierneef à La Motte. Decorated with a white chocolate “box detail” and lemon, strawberry and pistachio macarons. One of our favourites!
